Amy walked in to the tea house, and Aiden went into the darkest corner he could in attept to hide him self/

"Ah... yes Diana that is something I would like to talk to you about. Don't think I didn't hear you tried to become engaged to her. You arn't planing on doing it again, are you?"

((lol. Aiden makes me smile))

"Why?" Nicolas chuckled. "You aren't Jealous, are you?"

He pulled out a chair for her to sit at.

"Yes are you sis?" asked Aiden interested in her answer.

"Errr, No but don't you think it is a little awkward, I want to know what your intetions are I suppose" said Amy.

Nicolas smiled not quite content with her answer but decided to answer hers anyway. "Her grandfather was threating to disown her. Our engagement would have bought her some time, for her as well as for our grandfather. He's great really, just a bit old fashioned."

"Also, it also would have vexed Darien Viaght greatly." Nicolas added as an afterthought.

"And just so it doesn't get brought up again, I do not like Diana that way. We are distant cousins, distant enough so it isn't breaking any rules of nature if we marry... but I just don't think of her like that. And the feeling is mutual as you can see her with Viaght practically everywhere."

Amy smiled, good he wasn't a pureblood fanatic then.

"Very well, I can understand that I guess, though I don't why you hate Darien Vaight so much. He isn't that bad..... Granted I am hesitant to tell him I went on a date with you though... Anyway are you going to order any tea?"

"It's a complicated." Nicolas said. "Vaights and Casillas just don't get along."

"Diana's a special case though." Nicolas added. "I'm still waiting for the spell to wear off."

"Yes, tea," Nicolas waved down a waitress. "Can we have some tea please?"

"Sure thing luv," the waitress said. "Anything else?"

"No thanks that is all for me, just tea and a side of honey please"

Amy looked at Nicolas wondering she should tell him she and Aiden were related to the Vaight's........... Kinda.

"Would it surprise you to know Aiden and I are related to Darien and Ana Vaight? We are half cousins on their mothers side?"

Nicolas blinked. "Well... I suppose it isn't really that big of a surprise, most Wizarding families are inter-related to each other. Just s'long as it's the mother side."

"I'm curious though, what's the name?"

Amy blinked and bit her lip.

"I hope you don't have a grudge against the Malfoys, My mothers name is Merissa Malfoy-Avalon and My father is the half brother of Isaballe Vaight"

Nicolas shrugged. "I don't have a problem with the Malfoys. In fact, they usually attend our events in Spain."

"Yes, but you aren't Viaght by blood are you?" Nicolas said. "It's all about blood really." Nicolas' tone was half-joking.

"So you hope? What if I did have a grudge against the Malfoys?" Nicolas said suggestively.

Amy slapped her hand over her mouth, blushing madly.

"Well I..."

"Smooth sis.... really smooth... just bloody great" thought Aiden as he hit his head on the table.

"I didn't mean.... no... meant that......"

Letting out a fustrated sigh she forced her self to form a complete sentence.

"I merely meant I didn't want to cause tension.... thats all"

"Why?" Nicolas asked teasingly. "I think that's why Vaight and Diana are togther... the tension gives it a certain bit of excitement."

Aiden had had it he couldn't stay quiet

"Oh.. He wants excitment does he? tell where we are gonig next week Amy, "

Amy eyes widened slightly, "Oh right the dueling competion, there is no way I am telling him that. It will cause chaos"

"To much tension causes to much trouble, I find" she said.

Something about what Nicolas said earlier started to bug her.

"When you said it all about blood, were you joking or serious?"

"I'm a Gryffindor." Nicolas said with a grin. "No one in our house take blood seriously."

Nicolas looked up to see two new costumers. "Well, this should be interesting."

Darien froze in the doorway, holding Diana's hand.

And he noticed Aiden hiding at the back.
"You...and you? And what...how? what the- the- what are you-..."
His jaw dropped open.

Amy turned looked around and saw Darien.

"Damn it, here it comes"

"Nicolas?" Diana exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm with someone, obviously." Nicolas said. "Diana, I think you know, Amy Avalon. Amy, this is my cousin Diana."

Darien took a deep breath and began ranting...almost incoherantly, at Amy.
"What?! You're what? What were you-no wait, I don't want to know what in Merlin's name you were thinking, if you were thinking which quite frankly is very debateable!!!! I mean, Amy I thought you had more taste than that...some taste in general! What the hell?"...the next three and a half minutes was completely incoherant.
"Amy, you cannot possibly be serious! You really have lost it! Lost the plot, your mind, your sanity.. He's a stupid idiotic pony-obsessed jumped-up little worm, not even a human being! You know what? He's not even a worm! he's like a tiny little microscopic midget fly or something! And hang on, what is he thinking trying to suck you into his crazy schemes? He's inhuman, a stupid idiotic pony-lover. Why are you going along with his sickeningly disturbing scheme? Why, why why why why?!"
There was a shorter incoherent two minutes of expletives and randomness.
"WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!"
He took another deep breath in. "And now, I have voiced my opinion on the matter. And hopefully, you will now have seen the light...and it's nice and green."
He nodded at Aiden. "And you are making your brother look like a loner over there."

((lol, Ana is very good at knowing what Darien'll say...))

"Stop being a hypocrite Vaight," Nicolas said calmly.

"I never told her not to date you because you are a Casillas, just because you are a teenage boy with a pony. And as I do not have a pony, I'm not being a hypocrite."
Darien glared down at Nicolas.

Amy hit her head on the table, she didn't know what to say that wouldn't make something worse.

She looked between Darien, Nicolas, and Aiden.

"Help me what do I do?" she sent to Aiden.

Aiden shrugged.

Your alot of help

"Hmm well I...."

Nope she had nothing.

"See, here you are, abandoning poor Aiden over there!"
As Darien noticed Amy seemed at a loss for words, he decided to try and guilt her into 'sanity' by his standards.
"And now you've hit your head on the table...and that might bruise."
He turned to Nicolas. "You should look after your dates better."

Aiden deicided to join in to, "Oh yes, she didn't tell you that everytime you shut the door on my face she felt is to?"

Amy glared at Aiden "Brother dear, you are not helping!"

Aiden smirked "I know, but I am curious as to what will happen"

Amy sighed "Why?"

Darien shook his head slowly.
"And you shut the door in Aiden's face? Talk about abuse! Violent abuse in fact. That's almost bullying!"

"Yes, of course, I should take care of my dates since I don't randomly turn into a wolf." Nicolas said sarcastically.

"Shut the door on your face?" Nicolas played cloy. "I'm terribly sorry but I thought you were able enough to open doors for your self. I'll keep that in mind next time. Shall I buy you chocolates too Aiden?"
