2029-A Dramatic Plot twist occurs! (Fixed Future)

Zeph hesitantly raised his voice slightly. "Whoosh!"

Darien grinned. "Please." He took a bite, nodding in approval. "Good waffle. Those kids should be chefs."

Darius nodded. "WHooosh!"

By this time they reached the table. "WHooosh! Waffle!"

"Hmmhm," Diana said nodding. She then pulled his collar and kissed him.

Zeph sat down and cautiously poked his waffle with a fork. It looked squishy.

____

Darien was surprised, but pleasantly so. He returned the kiss, smiling.

Darius plopped a bite in his mouth and grinned at Zeph with his mouth full.

____

Diana pushed the tray away with one hand and pulled Darien closer.

Zeph hesitantly placed some waffle in his mouth and chewed.

Damn, this tasted good.

He began to eat with more speed.

____

Darien continued to kiss Diana, worries about Zephir and Celina flying from his mind.

Darius watched Zephir eat quickly and followed his lead.

Diana pulled away. "Yep, good breakfast," she said grinned mischievously.

Zeph swallowed the last bite of waffle and grinned a sticky smile.

"Good food."

Darien chuckled quietly, mirroring the impish grin. "I would have to agree."

"Hmmhmm." Darius nodded.

___

"Do you want help cleaning up?" Diana said.

Zeph wiped his hand across his face, sticky sauce coating his chin.

___

Darien smiled. "Well, I think Darius and Zeph may need more help cleaning up than I do."

Darius grinned. "You have sauce in your mouth!"

Well he had some too.

"I don't know," Diana said wiping Darien's cheek, "You're a right mess."

Zeph grinned slightly in response. "You are 'ardly clean yourself." His vague french accent, mimicking his mother's, slipped into his voice.

He reached for a tissue, and rubbed his face, soaking the whiteness with sauces.

Darien laughed. "I'm sure I am."

Darius started laughing.

Diana shook her head in mock dismay. "Whatever shall we do with you?"

A faint flush passed across Zeph's face and he attacked his face with the cloth again.

Darien smiled. "Whatever you like."

Darius dipped his cloth in sauce then put it on his face. "Look I've a beard."

Diana smiled up at him. "Should we go see what's become of those boys?"

Zephir couldn't help it, he started to giggle quietly.

____

Darien sighed. "I guess so." He paused, head on one side. "Is that Darius' laugh?"

Darius giggled as well.

___

"Must be, that guy doesn't seem like he likes to laugh much."

Zeph's laughter grew, Darius' giggle was contagious.

___

"...I swear there's two laughs..." Darien paused, looking around.

"Put a beard too Zephy!" Darius suggested.

"So there is." Diana agreed. "Come on, let's go see what's so funny."

Zeph cautiously placed a tissue on his own chin.

Darien nodded. "Ladies first."

Darius laughed hysterically.

Diana rolled her eyes. "Fine, but you're carrying the tray back down." Diana rolled out of bed.

Zeph chuckled more, and found he was unable to stop.

Darien bowed. "Yes ma'am!" He picked up the tray with a broad grin on his face.

And neither could Darius.

____

"Good boy." Diana said winking.

Zeph's 'beard' fell off but he continued to chuckle.

Darien grinned and followed Diana downstairs.

Diana looked at the two laughing boys amusedly.

"Hi Mummy!" Darius said noticing his mother first.

Zeph looked up, and fought to quench his laughter. However, although it faded to a giggle, he could not stop it altogether.

Darien grinned, placing the tray in the kitchen. "Having fun in there?"
