2029-A Dramatic Plot twist occurs! (Fixed Future)

Zeph surveyed the tent.

Darius untied the rope from the end of the bed, and struggled to reach a hook on the wall. He blinked as Zeph took the cord from him and tied it onto the hook.

The blanket just reached the floor, and Darius could stand up inside the tent.

"Much better!" He grinned, waving at Aurora to come inside.

Darien glared back at Nick, hands curled into fists.

Aurora walked in the tent and looked around. "Brilliant!" Aurora grinned at Darius and Zeph.

Nicolas took off his coat. "Now, you know I'm going to have to beat you into a bloody pulp. You understand, on principle." He hung his coat in the coat hanger, stretched his neck and faced Darien.

Darius grinned ear-to-ear, but Zeph's face remained neutral.

"You never explained this game to me." He stated, staring at Aurora, awaiting her explaination.

Darius glanced at Aurora as well, not answering the question as it wasn't directed at him.

Darien glanced at the ceiling, as though he could see through it to the playing children.

"Isn't that a bit inappropriate with your daughter just upstairs?" His voice was laced with anger.

"Well we basically pretend we are a family." Aurora explained slightly annoyed. "I can be the mother, coz I'm the only girl, then you can be the father," she said to Zeph, "coz your older than Darius. And Darius can be our daughter."

Nicolas silenced the whole room and locked the door. "What's wrong, Vaight? You scared?"

Zeph thought this game childish and beneath him, but decided not to vex the small bossy female. He was not used to dealing with girls...and she scared him. Curiousity also encouraged him to see what families were meant to be like...So he simply nodded, although a smile twitched at the corners of his mouth at Darius being a daughter.

Darius flushed and gaped in outrage. "But I'm boy!" He objected. "No way am I being a daughter!" He pouted slightly, folding his arms.

Darien growled. "As if." He raised his fists, narrowing his eyes as he glowered at Nick.

"Let's go."

"But I want a daughter." Aurora glared. "Now, you'll have to wear a dress, we'll need to fix your hair..." Aurora said looking him over.

"I'm a man of my word Vaight, and I remember telling you if you'd ever hurt Diana, you'd be dead."

"And here is me," he smirked. "Going good to my promise."

And then he sucker punched him.

Darius looked imploringly at Zeph.

Zephir's gaze was cold. "No."

Darius beamed with gratitude. Zeph continued, "Not all girls wear dresses. Darius doesn't have to wear a dress." A faint flicker of a smirk appeared on his face for a second. "The hair is a different matter..."

"Zephy!" Darius' cry of outrage caused another flicker of amusement to cross Zeph's features, for a moment.

Darien lashed out as the punch connected with his face. Snarling, he threw two more punches at Nick.

Aurora grinned mischievously. She got a small comb out of her pocket and pulled the bright pink hair tie from her hair. "Come here Dary."

Nicolas took the punches and threw his body to knock Darien over.

Darius remained where he was, looking at Aurora, the comb and the ribbon with equal fear.

Zephir leant back against the wall, arms folded. Smirking openly, he resolved not to interfere, despite Darius' desperate glances in his direction.

Darien swore as both he and Nick crashed onto the floor.

He rolled, kicking out at Nick, trying to prise the Casillas off him with his fists.

Aurora pulled a chair and made Darius sit in it. "Now hold still."

And she started messing with his hair.

Nicolas took the kicks but they were short range so they were relatively weak. He took Darien's head into a head lock as he punched his face repeatedly.

"No! Stop it!" Darius protested, although he had no doubt she would ignore him.

Zephir smirked more broadly. "Don't worry Darius, I'm sure you'll look fine as a girl."

"Help me! Zephy!" whined Darius, trying to escape Aurora.

Darien growled in pain, and rolled over, smashing Nick into the floor.

He felt sticky blood on his face and snarled again, slamming Nick's arms into the ground.

Aurora did ignore him and managed to wrap the ribbion around Darius' head despite him moving about. She looked at him and giggled. And couldn't stop giggling.

"What do you think we should name our beautiful daughter Zephy?" She laughed.

Nicolas growled. "You idiot! How could you let this happen?" He grabbed Darien's head with his feet and pushed down.

Darius squirmed and wriggled as best he could, but he was unable to escape Aurora's clutches.

Zephir blinked. "Uh..." His mind was blank.

Darien yelped, and bit into Nick's ankle.

"I didn't! This is Celina's work, not mine!"

"I think we should name her... Dar... Dar... Darla!" Aurora said laughing.

Nicolas screamed as he felt teeth. And in his anger he attempted to kick Darien's face in.

"Do you really expect me to believe that? It takes two people to make a baby!"

Zeph nodded. "Sure. Whatever."

Darius glared at Aurora and Zeph. "I am not a girl!" He insisted.

Darien rolled to one side, lashing out with his legs again.

"That doesn't mean one of them was me! The months don't add up, Celina could be lying!"

Aurora blantantly ignored Darla and went about her business. "Now let's pretend it's dinner time, and Zephy, you can be just coming home from work."

"You better hope she is (insert inappropriate insult)," Nicolas said rolling over to Darien. He stopped with the hits and looked at him eye to eye. "Because if she isn't, I'm going to personally make sure that you lose both Darius and Diana and that you never see them again."

Zephir said nothing, and slipped out of the door, waiting just behind it.

"Darla" pouted. "I'm not Darla!"

Darien glared back. "You have no control over them."

"Okay now, Darla, we have to make Dinner for your daddy!" Aurora grinned.

Nicolas sat up. "Do you honestly think she wouldn't leave you after this?"

Darius sighed. "Fine...mummy." Better to just grin and bear it, he decided.

Zephir smothered a grin.

Darien winced. "Only if he is my son. Which I don't believe he is."

"I knew you'd see it my way." Aurora took a hand full of Darius' toys and pretended they were food. "Okay, the food's ready, come on back in Zeph."

Nicolas punched Darien again. "I can't believe you cheated on her."

Zeph re-entered the room. "Uh...hi?"

Darius threw his arms around Zeph. "Welcome back Daddy!"

Zeph blinked and looked at Aurora for help.

Nicolas coughed and elbowed Darien. "Oh that's rich. Go die inside a hole, you don't deserve to have Darius or Diana. scumbag."

Zephir prised Darius off him and repeated the words, devoid of emotion. "Hi Darla, it's good to be home." he sighed. "What's for supper...honey?"

'Darla' snorted with laughter.

Zeph glared a brief dagger at him.

Darien roared and lunged at Nick, blindly lashing out with all limbs available.

"Roast beef," Aurora said proudly holding up a makeshift dish using Darius's more smaller toys.

"Darla, go ask your father how his day in the office was." Aurora smiled at Darius sweetly.

Nicolas was countering Darien's hits with ones of his own. He was hitting him on the ribs, on the face, on the face, and the face again. Then he shifted their position so that he had Darien in a choke hold.
