Mad Atmosphere (for) Juvenile Inhabitants...Club.

A noisy, colourful and magical club.

For all magicians...Superhuman or otherwise...

Adriana entered the club feeling a bit guilty. Sure her father was slightly overprotective and lived like a hermit, but still, he was her father, and he didn't want her to be there...

"Come on," Nicolas, her cousin, said to her. "Loosen up a little."

"Yes, but don't put your guard down." Diana said, her other cousin.

Yes it was her cousins that forced her to go here... no it wasn't, she just really wanted to go. Just to see what it was like. She'd been kept inside for far too long.

Adelina sighed, accepting the drink her best friend offered.

"Hey, aren't you going to dance?" Maddie asked, slightly confused. "You love to dance!"

Adelina shrugged. "Don't feel like it. Sorry."

Maddie sighed. "Are you bored already?"

"...No." Adelina hid her eyes with a flick of her fringe. "You go have fun, I just feel a bit tired that's all."

Maddie agreed and left to find a few other friends. Adelina sipped at her drink, growing annoyed as lights reflected all over the room, temporarily blinding her. For some reason, she didn't like being unable to see...Like she was open to attack or something.

But that was ridiculous.

She sighed and put the drink down. She doubted her mother would appreciate her coming home barely able to walk straight...again. Not that that episode had been entirely her fault...but still.

"So I'm going to Dance," Nicolas said grinning. "How about you two? No wait," he guestured to Diana, "I bet you're going to survey the exits."

"Shut up Nick," Diana said. "Honestly, I saved your butt last week, I'd appreciate it if you were a little more grateful."

"Yes yes," Nicolas said. "Thank you for saving me from those evil vampires, cousin."

"Oh just shut up," Diana said. "I'm going to the bathroom."

"I'm going to Dance." Nicolas said.

"And I'm going to get a drink." Adriana said. She needed one to calm her nerves. She headed the to the bar, not really taking in her surroundings. "Hey, a firewhiskey here!"

The Bartender looked at her fleetingly and nodded.

Maddie wandered onto the dancefloor and began to dance with several humans she knew.

She glanced over at her only other part-vampire friend, who did look rather ill.

Adelina smiled slightly at Maddie and waved, taking another sip of her drink.

After about four weeks, this club was getting dull. At least her mum let her go out in the evenings...apparently that was an advantage of being half vampire.

And it only helped that Maddie was a full-vampire...even though she didn't drink human blood.

Adriana tapped her fingers impatiently on the table. Where was her drink?

"Hey! Where's my drink?" She yelled at the Bartender.

Diana returned to the bathroom, but then she sensed something in the air. There was a vampire in the club.

Adelina wandered over to the bar.

She really shouldn't drink so quickly.

"Here." The bartender placed a glass of firewhisky in front of her and darted to the other side of the bar.

"But-I didn't..." Adelina, unsure of what to do, picked up the drink and walked back to her seat. Confused, she sat and looked at it.

Maddie spun around and around, vaguely noticing her friend's confusion.

She didn't notice she edged nearer and nearer to a Slayer or two...

Adriana was really ticked off now. "Hey Mister, I'd like to know where my drink is!"

Diana was really ticked off now. What was this vampire thinking, going to a club like this? She was going to kill it! Literally and figuratively. Mostly figuratively for now since this was a public area, but literally later on!

She homed to the vampire on the dance floor. She was dancing like no bodies business. Diana neared the vampire, grasping her trusty dagger from her pocket.

Adriana was about to tell off the bartender further but she felt something change in the air. She called it her Slayer senses, but no... she knew it was something else. Something different. None of the other slayers felt was she felt. And at the moment, she felt Diana's movements, like a predator tracing a prey. Why was she thinking this way?

Adelina's head snapped up as she heard a yell from Maddie.

"Oi! No knife crime!"

Adelina almost laughed. Typical Maddie.

She placed the drink on the side and slipped through the crowd, towards her friend.

Maddie glared at the Slayer with some strange dagger. "What're you playing at?! If you're going to cut yourself, at least have the decency to do it in a bathroom where we don't have to watch!"

"Shut up you vampire scum," Diana growled.

Nicolas curse inwardly. He was really getting into the beat of things. He left his rather good looking dance partner and weaved his way towards his cousin.

Adriana was trying to do the same, but for some reason, the dancing crowd just wouldn't let her pass and she was somewhat delayed.

Maddie bared her fangs. "This is a neutral zone Slayer. So I suggest you shut it. 'S not like I am trying to kill people!...Unlike you." Maddie put her hands on her hips and glared, eyes darkening to black.

"Leave her alone! What's your problem?" Adelina managed to force her way through the crowd to stand beside her friend.

Maddie glanced over at her friend and smiled.

Diana was about to retort back at the Vampire, saying that Vampires weren't hardly people when Adelina spoke. "Adriana?"

And it wasn't only Diana who was surprised but Nicolas as well. What the hell was Adriana doing defending the Vampires?

"Yes?" The real Adriana said from somewhere behind them. She finalled got through the ocean of dancing bodies. She looked at Diana expectantly.

Diana looked back at the real Adriana, then the pseudo Adriana in front of her. Diana was confused. Diana didn't like to be confused so she pointed her dagger at pseudo Adriana. "What the hell is this?" Realising that she might be pointing her dagger at the actual Adriana she pointed her dagger at the other Adriana.

Real Adriana was confused too. "Why are you pointing..." That was when she noticed psuedo Adriana.

"What the hell kind of Vampire trick is this?" Nicolas asked no one in particular as Diana and Adriana seemed not to be able to speak.

"Who the hell are you?!" Maddie yelled at the girl who looked just like her best friend.

Adelina frowned. "I'm not Adriana! My name is Adelina! And stop pointing that at me!"

Maddie snarled. "Typical...Blame the vampires. So stereotypical of you." Adelina stared confusedly at her...double?! This was weird.

"Who...What...Who are you?!" Adelina blinked, subconsciously fiddling with the locket around her neck...well...the half a locket around her neck.

"Hey you!" A security personal said. "You with the weapon, Outside!"

"And take your little friendies with you!"

Several bouncers went at them and grasp their shoulders and started to pull them outside.

Diana could have fought them, but she decided that outside would be a lot safer for the civilains.

Nicolas well... he was a little drunk.

Adriana just let her self be pulled.

Adelina shrugged off the hands pushing her, and walked out by herself, dragging a furious Maddie with her.

Once outside, Maddie rounded on the Slayers again. "Nice one Slayer, you got us thrown out. Didn't your mother ever teach you not to carry sharp object near innocent and defenseless little humans?"

Diana wasted no time in attempting to attack Maddie.

"What did you do to Adriana?!"

"Nothing!" Maddie scowled. "She seems fine to me." She thought about lunging at the Slayer, but Adelina grabbed her arm.

Adelina examined her double closely. "...You look just like me...How...How can that be?"

Maddie snorted. "Who knows? Certainly not the Slayer gang...They seem to struggle with people skills as it is..."

Adelina smirked slightly, again fiddling with her half a locket, which shimmered in the light from the club.

Adriana was examining her double closely as well. "This is... strange."

Personally, Diana thought that was the understatement of the year, but kept quiet. She was trying to figure out was up.

"Who are you?" Adriana asked.

"...I'm Adelina. Who're you?" Adelina continued to fiddle with her locket.

Maddie folded her arms and stood near her friend, watching the Slayers carefully.

"I think what are you is more approperate," Diana said. "Seeing as you aren't a vampire. Well not like her anyway." Diana glared at Maddie, as if all of this was her fault.

Adriana ignored Diana. "I'm Adriana..."

Maddie hissed.

Adelina grabbed her arm again. "Well it's clear you lot are slayers...Well, you two anyway." Adelina pointed at Diana and Nick. "And my mum's a vampire. I'd appreciate it if you'd stop insulting my family, and my friends."

Maddie smirked. "She's a slayer...she can't help it." She glanced at Adriana curiously. "What about you? You're not like them. What are you?"

"Really," Nicolas said. "You should really consider yourself luckly that she's only 'insulting', she's usually a lot more... unsociable."

Diana glared at him. "For good reason!"

"I am a Slayer...!" Adriana lied. Well it wasn't really a lie. She'd some intention of being a Slayer when she became of age... besides, she was an 'Heir'.

"Good now that we are all friends," Diana said sarcastically. "Let's end this." And she took out her weapons from... who knows where.

"Diana wait!" Adriana shouted and put herself between her and the vampires... well one was a vampire the other was... her double.

"Oh...I can be equally unsociable, I'm sure..." Maddie hissed.

Adelina maintained her firm hold on Maddie's arm. "We'd better go..."

...This is weird. Why's she risking her neck for a couple of vampires?

Diana paid no heed to Adriana's saying and went on to attack Maddie. However, Adriana, using some form of inner strength, was able to outmanuever Diana and stop her.

"Diana wait!" She repeated. "What was that? Who said that?"

"Who said what?" Diana said clearly pissed off. "Are you draft? What the hell are you doing?"

But Adriana was looking for the voice who said something. Then Adriana's eyes locked at Adelina. It was you.

"Who said...what?" Maddie raised an eyebrow. "Slayer, your friend's crazy."

Great...Now I'm hearing voices...-Wait! What? Get out of my head! Adelina closed her eyes briefly.

"Maddie, come on, let's just go."

Maddie snarled. "Why? We can-"

"No." Adelina's voice was decisive. ...Why can I hear you...If it's you...In my head?!
